For its 10th anniversary, the Chain of Life Challenge can count on an exceptional honorary...
It was an emotionally-charged Challenge, in which we were able to highlight the courage and generosity of donor families, honour the memory of their deceased loved ones and celebrate the life that goes on thanks to organ and tissue donation.
In all, more than 1,300 participants on 23 mountains took part in the Chain of Life Challenge on October 14 and 15. The $64,674 raised will be used to continue our great mission of educating young people about organ and tissue donation in schools and encouraging them to adopt healthy lifestyle habits.
Many thanks to all those who contributed to this great success, in particular the regional coordinators and volunteers, as well as our flag-bearer families, who succeeded in spreading the word about the Chain of Life Challenge throughout the province and beyond.
And we can't overlook the dedication of Isabelle Maréchal and Thierry Houillon, patrons of Chain of Life. The Challenge was also the occasion to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Thierry's liver transplant. And a special thank you to the Fondation Famille Léger for their unfailing support.
The Challenge was an opportunity to give numerous interviews throughout Quebec to talk about the reality of donor families and to remind people of the importance of discussing organ and tissue donation with their loved ones. An extremely important objective at a time when we are facing a pivotal moment in terms of legislation.

In closing, we invite you to note that the Chain of Life Challenge will return again on October 12 and 13, 2024, on a mountain near you. We look forward to seeing you there!
On behalf of the entire Chain of Life team, thank you very much!
