Our great human chain came to life through 18 challenges, in Quebec and around the world, shining a message of hope, solidarity, and generosity. We are immensely proud!

What a Wonderful 11th Edition of the Chain of Life Challenge!

This year, the Challenge paid tribute to our Chain of Life teachers, the 2025 flag bearers and essential links in the great chain of organ donation and transplantation. Thanks to their commitment, thousands of young people aged 15 to 17 reflect each year, make an informed choice, and become ambassadors for family dialogue about donation as well as agents of prevention and health who inspire their generation, their families, and their communities to take care of life.

Thanks to you, $47,000 was raised! This amount will allow us to continue our educational mission in schools and inspire even more young people to build a true culture of giving, caring and health.

The Chain of Life team would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the regional coordinators and their volunteer teams without you, none of this would be possible.

We also thank the teachers, the students who took part in large numbers, the transplant recipients, the donor families, the health professionals, the volunteer police officers involved in organ transport, and all those who participated in the Challenge or made a donation in support of Chain of Life.
Each of you is an essential link in this great human chain!

We also wish to express our deep gratitude to our main partner, the Léger Family Foundation, for its unwavering support and generosity. A visionary partner, the Léger Family Foundation recognizes education as the first link in the chain, firmly believing in our youth as a driving force for change toward a more informed, altruistic, and healthy society.

We were also delighted to welcome several government representatives and local elected officials who came to show their support for the importance of education on organ and tissue donation in schools.

You can find photo memories of the event on our Facebook page and in our newsletter.
Please feel free to share them on your social media to help our mission shine even brighter.

Finally, please note that the Chain of Life Challenge will return in October 2026, on a mountain near you.
We can’t wait to see you there!

On behalf of the entire Chain of Life team, a thousand thanks!

When we teach the value of life at school, it grows into a culture of giving, caring and health for all.
