Chain of Life Challenge
Take on the Chain of Life Challenge at Centre de plein air de Lévis (mont Lauzon)!
Support our flag bearer, Marily Morin, a former Chain of Life student and future Chain of Life teacher, representing the very first link in the chain of life: education. Make a donation to your region, create a team, or join your flag-bearer’s team. You can also register individually. Through this act of solidarity, you are directly helping to advance organ and tissue donation education in our schools.

Marily Morin
Hi,
I was fortunate to discover Chain of Life when I was in Secondary 4 at École secondaire de Rivière-du-Loup, where the program was first launched. It was in Miss Lucie’s class, a passionate teacher and the founder of Chain of Life, that I first discovered the program. I still remember that experience, which led me to think about organ and tissue donation in a much more human and tangible way.
A few years later, life brought me back to Chain of Life, but this time on the other side of the classroom. I became a high school English teacher and chose to complete the training so that I, in turn, could introduce the program to my students. I find it particularly special to be able to pass on today something that had such a profound impact on me when I was a teenager.
What I love about Chain of Life is that the program does more than simply inform. It opens the door to meaningful conversations. It encourages young people to reflect, ask questions, develop their critical thinking skills, talk with their families, and become aware of the impact a decision can have on the lives of others. It also provides an opportunity to explore health, solidarity, generosity, and commitment in a way that stays with them.
It is therefore with great joy and pride that I accepted the role of flag-bearer for the Quebec City region. For me, it is a wonderful way to continue this chain: I was first a student who was deeply moved by the program, then a teacher who now passes it on to her students, and today, I have the opportunity to represent it.
I hope that many people from the Quebec City region will join us for the Chain of Life Challenge and support this wonderful initiative, which places youth education, reflection, and solidarity at its heart.
Marily
